01 · Acceptance
By accessing our website, making a booking, purchasing a ticket, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. BGEE Crown reserves the right to amend these terms at any time with reasonable notice posted on this page.
02 · Hair Bookings
- A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure all bookings. The deposit is transferable once to a rescheduled appointment.
- Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations forfeit the deposit.
- Please arrive with clean, detangled hair where possible. Services may be declined or repriced if preparation standards are not met.
- Children aged 6 and above are welcome for appropriate services. A guardian must be present throughout.
- Service durations are estimates. Complex styles may require additional time and will be communicated before proceeding.
03 · Event Tickets
- All ticket sales are final. Tickets may be transferred to another person free of charge but cannot be resold for profit.
- The BGEE Crown African Heritage Fashion Experience is an 18+ event unless otherwise stated.
- The event proceeds rain or shine. Refunds are not available for weather-related changes.
- BGEE Crown reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests who do not comply with venue or conduct requirements.
- Ticket holders consent to being photographed or filmed at the event for promotional use.
04 · Online Orders
- All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
- Orders are dispatched within 2–4 business weeks. Made-to-order garments may take longer — estimated times are shown on the product page.
- BGEE Crown is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers once an order has been dispatched.
- Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon dispatch. We recommend insured shipping for high-value orders.
05 · House Conduct
BGEE Crown is a safe, inclusive, and celebratory space. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward racism, discrimination, harassment, or any behaviour that diminishes the dignity of others. Guests or clients who violate this policy will be removed without refund and may be banned from future events and services.
Our studio and events are a celebration of African heritage and culture. We ask all guests to engage with respect and curiosity.
06 · Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including photographs, video, designs, garments, and written material — is the intellectual property of BGEE Crown or its collaborators and is protected by Australian copyright law.
Personal, non-commercial sharing of event content is welcome with attribution @bgeecrown. Commercial reproduction requires written permission.
07 · Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, BGEE Crown's liability for any claim is limited to either re-performing the service or providing a refund of the amount paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded.
08 · Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
